  2. THIS IS A NOTICE TO ALL THE POLICE STATIONS IN THE UK AND ALL OTHER INTERESTED PARTIES: GUY SHORROCK [RSPB] CANNOT BE USED TO HELP INVESTIGATE PEOPLE IN RELATION TO BIRDS AS HE HAS A ‘HIDDEN AGENDA’, HE DOES NOT ‘LIKE PEOPLE WHO BREED BIRDS’ AND WANT TO ‘CLOSE THEM DOWN’. 9. Well I hope they get the one that killed all my mother chickens that came from all over the world and I hatched for her and raised for her except if it a badger of course from 'wind in the willows' with it is thieving mask on of a killer.
  10. thats the longest message ive ever read Just telling it how it is, I have spent three weeks going through Hansard to finds it: lots of foxes and badgers equals nothing else to see for example badgers vacuuming up baby nightjars. There is a lot more but it may be too much for one nights reading.
  11. http://hansard.millbanksystems.com/lords/2...0031028_HOL_381 return to the subject of the New Forest, where the survival of the Montagu's harrier was threatened by foxes taking chicks. In 1997 the Forestry Commission called in the New Forest hunt to help. The hunt killed eight foxes within one mile of the nesting site and, using the hounds, was able to locate a den near the nest. A fox was dug out and humanely destroyed. So it is not just the quarry species themselves which benefit from hunting; a variety of other animals benefit from sympathetic management and the things that hunting can do.

  13. http://www.whatdotheyknow.com/request/the_...cument_from_the The following document from the House of Lord has greatly shocked and frightened me to the extent that I am compelled to request any information that you have in relation to the Royal Society for the Protection of Birds using their members in the House of Lords to apply the political agenda of the RSPB to the extent that it influences the law that controls use all. Could I also see any guideline that you have to control any bias influence in relation to passing Bills in the various stages in the House of Commons and the House

  15. Yes i understand the process of how DNA testing is done but what im saying is unless they have a data base of Hh reared in captivity and hence something to check the dna against it would be completely useless?? How would they know that the parents and parents before them were not illegally imported?? And with the number of HarrisHawks breeders in this country i doubt there would be any market at all for imported smuggled birds because there really is no need for them? it would be like trying to import smuggled dogs...pointless! The RSPB know this which is why i think they arent taking much int

Didnt know it was possible to unlawfully breed harrises in this country, so still not sure where your coming from, if it were peregrines or something native then yes but harrises? Foxy You could always smuggle them in from abroad
  18. It is the first harris hawk ever bred in captivity in my garden this year for now. Another egg has drawn down but has not piped yet.
