  1. Willow, to breed. I bred her out of a nearly half desertbred saluki bitch and the sire was out of Alan Sankeys Forley cup winning Dancer and Tommy Murrays Smokey. Tom put a real good 3/4 type bull cross on her. Those pups should do any quarry in Ireland. I only used Willow on hares but in her first season she took all three britsh species and won a do for first season dogs with 11 whities single handed from 11 slips. She would hardly miss an Irish hare if she got a bend in the open and killed the brown hares on fenland in Lincolnshire and fields in Yorkshire too. This information came fro

  16. Just wondering what they look like and how you would rate them as im considering breeding them myself.
  17. Cn you honestly sit there and try to tell me that a hare is given as much a chance at night then he is during the day? I seriously think your fighting a losing battle but do as you want where your from but theres alot of people who would have your head on a plate for lamping a hare over here....
  18. I present you the lurcher X poodle What you think...?
  19. How can you call a blinded hare fair game? I can guarantee you it is much easier to catch a hare on the lamp as it dosent know where its going round and round in circles untill it gives up... You must be easily pleased socks...Stick to the rabbits and foxs on the lamp.
  20. Even if i would make the mistake of a squatting rabbit to a hare...If a hare jumps the light goes off its just the way i was tought. Keep the comments flying in good to hear other peoples opinions
  21. Just wondering do people lamp the hares...? Personally i dont because i feel its too easy at night and nearly any dog could catch a hare at night. Just wondering...???
  22. Thanks for all the suggestions keep them coming. Was thunking of breeding for an all rounder. Whippet x grey or collie x grey sound decent enough but its fairly hard to get a full greyhound for breeding with a whippet.
  23. Iv a whippet bitch here shes a great lamper 21" to shoulder i was just wondering what is a good suggestion to cover her with...? And i have a few mates badly in need of a well bred pup And would a mating with a saluki be possible? 1. Could she hold the pups? 2. Would the saluki be able to mate her? And pictures of stud digs would be great..... No offence to the bull breed just tohard for the work id have for it. Thanks.
