    Ok lads what way is this gonna be ran what are the rules is it gonna be run for run for 3 hours ? whats the rules regarding retriveing ? what happens if one dog is running its rabbit and the other slips it collar that rabbit must not be awarded to eather dog? what happens if some ones dog fucks of and hunts up ? are all dogs entered stock broken as most my permision has sheep on it ? if there are only a few entries should there be two match like a home and away match? if any one eles has any quistions put them up robert

    was out last night got 11 rabbits with my whippet dog in a hour and a half a decent night could of went on and get 20 or so but battrey was near out will put pic up after i work out hi to do it robert

    you ever seen a stoat courseing? and what else is a 21 ins dod good for? apart from short people poseing with them 24/25 for an alround dog for me so are you saying a 21" dog is only good for rabbits ive a 21 " whippet am far from short and will run it at any thing and run it beide any big dog and it will never look out of place robert

    well i would go for a big dog as when you wake up i bit more you will see there is bigger game around you and will see you need a bigger dog but small dogs are ok for rabbits but they ant my cup of tea so what your saying is you need a big dog for big game what rubbish is this iv see small 22" dog kill foxes for fun and even bigger stuff robert

    you said it mate some dogs are slow starters i would give a dog till its 3 yrs before i would say it would not make the grade i set my standers high what might not suit me my be someone eles world beater robert

    im up for this lads need to get it orted properly but the way the english have i run the n ireland working whippet club and we have got a first rounds in october but no problem running along side lurchers robert

    my aims this season is to bring my young whippet on this will be his first full season plan to try him on all sorts of quarry to date he has only took one fox and a few hundred rabbits and a feral cat but rat hare rabbit fox will hopefully be on the list this season another aim is to promoite the whippet as a working dog as ever lurcher man seem to think they a crap but have never really worked them hi wronge they are robert

    been out three time with my whippet dog on the lamp got 19 bunnys and a feral cat so far this season with him not a bad start a bit rusty will have to find out hi to put pic up as i cant get the hang of photo bucket robert

    good on you mate i work whippet myelf and have had young dogs take hare round that age and one i breed took a fox at ten month people undertamate these little dog your dog should make about 21 22 mate hope this helps robert

    mate you are more than well come to come out lamping with me these whippets of mine are far from show standed dog they are out and out workers you know the woman that breed my old dog and i breed the pup i now have we are trying to get a good breeding program going now but testing the dog to the full before any mateing takes place robert

    they are all ped one dog is 21 and a half inches 40lb and will do all what you said a thicker coat would not help a small lurchers proformance as we dont get the cold winters like we used to just my views robert

    not true mate i take it the small lurcher you are talking about is a greyhound x and not a whippet x the greyhound has less stamina than the whippet as for the whippet not haveing stamina my ones will maybe run 50 runs in one night so i think that is un true robert

    what real adventage do you think that small lurchers have over the whippet now only people fews that have worked both robert

    do they get much walking mate as a well walk and tired dog has not got the energy to whine just a thought it might help robert
