It was one of the pig farms that I work on where I went today on my own. I was there about approximately four hours, I had two woodies in the freezer from ages ago that i used as decoys to draw the first ones in. Once one was shot if nothing else came in for five to ten minutes i popped out the hide and arranged it better with the other two decoys. I kept doing this until I eventually called it a day. The three rooks was shot attacking twitching pigeons that had been shot. The two wood pigeons were shot at long range for me as I could not get none to come down into the middle of the decoy
Took my new gun out today to give the decoying an attempt and I was quite surprised how effective it could be. Birds coming in quite well to the decoys. Pic of end bag, 18 ferral, 2 wood pigeon, and 3 rook.

hi not sure if this is a problem or not but the sliding breech [i think thats what you call it] where the pellet is loaded seems a little bit sticky when the under lever goes back up to load. cheers for any advice lucan

hi davy how you doing, not seen anything of Spike but have not been shooting since last year as I have been helping set up more outdoor pig breeding units which has left me with no spare time until now. Do you know if the HW97 is heavier than the TX as I am going to go and try the TX tomorrow that my cousin owns to see what it fits like.
