theyve been tied out seen an end of a dig eager to go.go in work the game then come out.happened last year with a dog i give him to a mate of a mate he left him off for a few months then tryed him again done a few digs and then came away.sould have said these dogs are tryed in easy earths and shouldnt come out.as for luchers following a beam their frist time out im talking about terriers

i know mate but when they get up on the game and are working it they shouldnt come away maybe tryed a few times they could start to stay but i lose all hope in the dog when that happens

alrite everyone.just a question to the terrier lads when your starting off a young terrier and they meet their game under ground if they come away from it.come out.do you give them another chance.personally i dont but when i think back on a few dogs i do wonder if i should have.just wondering what diifrent lads do.im talking about pups that are 16 to 18 months when they start to travel tubes.

on some digs you will not need a draw dog.but you will get alot of digs when you will very handy in deep digs when the game has pushed on a bit and dosent want to come out try put your hand in their mate youl be comen out with a crunched up hand.be realistic course you need a draw dog when diging.

smart looking red dog just put one over a black and tan looks just the same as your red dog and the black and tan in other picture kept 1 pup looks the same as red one in the second picture thought someone had been in my kennels with a camera have you any pictures mate

if she didnt make it what harm belive me iv had more bad ones then good ones but they dont last to long.youl only own a few terriers in your life that will stand out iv only owned one that stands out from the reast so far.if your going to be scared to put her to ground then dont you have to understand if your going to use a terrier for ground work things do happen dogs get marked up and dogs get lost after all they are hunting dogs.by the sounds of it mate shes more your pet then earth dog not saying she wouldnt work.

ya iv seen one of my mates small dog russel just bay till dug to used to get f**k all marks on him.did you ever hear the saying its not the size of the dog but the size of the fight in the dog.she learn how to work foxs right after a few digs

does your bitch go to ground have you tryed her at 3 shes more then ready personally i like a terrier with a strong head can take the bad bite of the fox but thats me others like small type terriers it all depends on what way your dog works if she sounds then she will be fine.most russels are sounders anyway.theres only one way to find out thats to try her out next season.i know its nice to read books on working terriers but dont belive everything you read in them .american earths are differnt sizes to the ones youl be working with your bitch.best of luck with her anyway mate

iv seen one two loved to lay by the fire only messing mate.just trying to say why get a pup from two breeds of dog,that are not worked much any more.i know theres a handfull of lads that work staffs but as for westies stop there working days are long gone.
