  2. A little less of this, and i thought the dog world was bitchy. Anyone new to Ferrets would be put off for life after viewing the various ferret forums. There is only conflict if you indulge them. Get out and enjoy the ferrets, and if people don't like you,SO WHAT.
  3. There seems to be a lot of Ferret owners out there who should spend less time on the P.C and more time outdoors enjoying their Ferrets. My god, all that bitching can't be good for you. And who is this Crompton person, and does anyone give a sh1t anyway. Less whinging, more working.
  4. Stick the URL up so we can have a laugh. Still not sure why people keep ferrets and not work them. But, i suppose everyone to their own, and long may it stay that way. Had a look on the site recently, and it looked like they spent most of the time slagging each other off.

    OMG

Looks like a bog brush. poor sod
  6. It was in the paper yesterday that an estimated 20,000 grey squirrels are causing havoc in the Forest of Dean. Looks like you guys down that way need to get the casserole dish out.
  7. There are many recipes for Squirrel on the internet, but has anyone ever tasted them. What do they taste like ??
  8. Hands up who had a 3 star jumper.
  9. 1/4 Stottie with Ham and Peas Pudding, washed down with a nice bottle of Cresta. Yes, those were the days indeed.
  10. They come back every year. However, they build their nest in the most ridiculous of places. 3 years ago they built a nest and laid their eggs in the gutter on the garden shed. Due to the felt over hanging into the gutter they probably thought it was a good place, until the first heavy downpour. Nest full of water, and they abandoned it.
  11. Noticed a Wren and a pair of Flycatchers taking food to the same place. At first i thought the Flycatchers had taken over the Wrens nest, so out with the ladders to satisfy my curiosity. It turns out the Flycatchers have built their nest right on top of the Wrens.
  12. Cheers Hybred I'm more worried about catching something off the sheep in the field to the side.  Not the best looked after animals.(They aren't mine)
  13. They're out at about 8.30pm at moment, still quite light really. They never seem to venture out if its raining. I'll check out that website Hybred.

    olympics

Its cost 100 million pounds to get this far. Its going to cost 3 billion by the time its all over. And last month Montreal finish repaying its debut off for the 1976 Olympics, almost 30yrs later. I think I'll scream if anyone else says it I'll have a huge boost to the economy, like they always say when trying to justify the massive over spending on the latest "project". :realmad: Good pic Flynn :11:
  15. Thanks nttf sounds like i'll need the mask i use when the septic tank gets bloked
  16. Thanks for the info lads. It took 8 years to find where they hang out. Only seen them disappear under the eves a couple of times. There's about 4-6 every evening at any one time. (difficult to count, as they won't keep still) Apart from seeing them flying around outside you wouldn't know they lived above the bedroom. Got no rats, very few mice, but plagued by voles. :realmad:
  17. Anyone else got Bats on their property, and do they cause any problems ? I know they are protected, don't want to move them, just curious about any damage they may cause. Got these pics last August at 1:15pm, its the only time I've seen them out in the daytime. (sorry about the picture quality)
  18. The first time i heard that song the line they take the profits-you take the blame, seemed to jump out of the radio, appropriate at the time. Gutted that he's a anti.
  19. Paul Weller sang......... You don’t have to take this crap You don’t have to sit back and relax You can actually try changing it I know we’ve always been taught to rely Upon those in authority - But you never know until you try How things just might be - If we came together so strongly Are you gonna try to make this work Or spend your days down in the dirt You see things can change - Yes an’ walls can come tumbling down! Governments crack and systems fall ’cause unity is powerful - Lights go out - walls come tumbling down! Think i'll spend my days d
  20. Stirrup pump Although there are 2 filters ( particle and moisture ) , I'd still like to know if the quality of air is going to have any long term effects on the gun , as opposed to dive bottle air. Is a stirrup pump OK to use 100% of the time , or should they be regarded as a stop-gap if you run out of bottle air ?? 190 bar = 2,755.7170221 pound/square inch ( it must be right, the computer said so) Mr Darcy, you were the closest, step forward and collect your prize
  21. I wonder how many Wombles you can have before you need a licence. http://www.wpcc.org.uk/bye-laws1.htm
  22. They seem gutted :11: :11: :11: http://theflamingferret.ipbhost.com/index.php?showtopic=2896
  23. looks like it could be at the discresion of local councils, so chances are its coming. What next?? Lurchers/greyhounds only allowed to have 3 legs. http://www.ukpets.co.uk/?section=Home&sub=...=fetch&item=824
  24. Not really an answer to your question Reload, but having recently bought a precharged i was faced with the choice of bottle or pump. Having looked at the price of the bottle setup (£45 for a new A-clamp sounds about right) plus the 120 mile round trip to get it refilled i opted for a logun stirrup pump. Dead easy to use, not as tiring as has been made out. I know there's concern over moisture, it's got a particle and moisture filter and does the job great. Would be good to hear if anyone has problems with them or not. Is it worth carrying on with it, or in the long run do i really
