I heard he went for 2000 at just over a year? maybe not a massive amount by standards that some coursing dogs have swapped hands for but still a lot of money. Buddy was swapped for a minshaw x whip/grey or something like that at 12 month old , then sold on for £500 a time to each owner I think, never went for big money, cn got him around 4-5 year old.

Iv seen a video of razor run, is that who you mean? Exellant runner and very consistent, I know the lad who owns him and he has had a very successful career with the dog, contact snoop on here .

Yeah, they did ok in the fields, in day and mine did plenty on the lamp too, to be honest the bitches in thatlitter could stick to there gear better than my dog. But what he lacked in nimbleness he made up with his mouth. That dog would do what I do with a dog now tho... But as said earlier, my present one is ticking all the boxes at the minute.

There seems to be more well known male dogs, rather than bitches, is it just down to who owned and ran them or did dogs tend to be the stronger runners, ??. Obviously with out a decent bitch you couldn't of carried on the breed tho.

Yeah, he only had 2 litters but there are 2 in each litter that lads are happy with, the gh brother got 1, think he put in pup last year.

Yeah, not that many hit the 6 minute Mark tho, you only get a handful of them a season, I wouldn't keep a dog that needed 6 minute to kill most of it's hares either... If I could get my old dog back now I'd be happy as a pig in shit, lol, saying that my present one is keeping me happy so far, but she won't be seeing the fens that much, it's mainly lamping for me again and a it of daytime rabbiting now.

It's some place down there, its a fecking long way from lovely Cumbria tho, lol, before we went we were sure the dogs we had would make short work of the hares with them being fast types, lol.....wasn't to be tho, lol... Soon needed saluki blood and plenty of it lol, them pups out of spider ran down there, they killed a few, but struggled as season got on, they never jacked but ran out of steam plenty of times. Good thing with them was that 20 minutes later they were good to go again, where as once a saluki blooded dog has bottomed out, that's it , it's done .

The bitch I bred with spider to get pups on nbbiddieswas bred by minshaw, he did a lot of his coursing then with saluki/ whip grey bitch called mist, a little red bitch, fast and good killer, he lined that to a dog bred down from ghost. I had a dog pup from this litter which I ran bait too hard one night, and like side in previous posts didn't show any signs until walking back to the motor. When this was pts minshaw sold me bonnie as he had mist back in pup, she was stolen when she was ready to drop. Minshaw actually owned buddy when he was about 3 year old, he didn't keep him long tho

Did any of his pups have the problem? if the other two lads had not pts could of been more pups bred, the lad I know that pts his had lined it with his blue x grey bitch and presumed it was in pup, gutted when she didn't take and the dog was gone

Seen the albums of bryn,s who had grip, traveller etc, he had loads of pictures in there with decent hauls of foxes strung up, think that grip liked teeth, and bambi,s lol... There were two brothers in travellers litter that looked like that Conan dog, one of them was White bith blue and tan patches on it, hound like markings really

I got offered red years ago, but heard it was picky on rabbits, which wouldn't of been much good to me haha. Minshaw man bitch is fairly well bred then, and is inherited the picky it or not ? Has olo been over many bitches?

The sister to storm is still alive, my mams neighbour has it, it had a litter of pups to carsons brother, I think that jim barker got oe of them. I bred them for lamping with, but they did ok on hares in the fields. Couldn't do the fens, but ok round blackpool and Yorkshire.
