  1. You can find them on ebay, but try your local scrap yards/ car brokers first. Just asked my dad because hes made a few. He said that the best lures are from non pre engaged starter motors. We used mini metros, early land rovers are ideal. I will post a picture for you tomorrow so you can see what you think, also try and dig some instructions out from another site.
  2. Good pictures as always I would ask what sort of camera you use But wouldnt have a clue... so what sort of price would you be looking at for a camera to produce pic's of that quality? Good luck on the 15th. Cheers Tom
  3. As already stated but would also recommend dorwest herbs - keepers mix. My bitch which had pups lost lots of hair under her stomach and also found different useful products from dorwest herbs which helped. Also know of a few people who run alot of non peds and there all bare on their back thighs which is due to excess protien.
  4. Cheer for that Heres a picture of my two beardies crosses which I got. The dog is about 24 1/2". The bitch is 21" shown with her sire about 23". Quite a size variation but probably just because of there being alot of different crosses in their make up.
  5. Find this topic quite interesting as I have two beardie crosses..(Not a huge percentage though) Why would the bitches that you breed just be rabbit dogs? What percentage of beardie was there make up? Cheers Tom
  6. What cross is she? The sire is from a straight whippet greyhound put over a little lurcher with a mixture of beardie and deerhound x. The dam is a smooth whippet greyhound collie.

  12. They definatley looked genuine, I dont think too many dodgy traders would spend alot for a large pitch at a good gamefair. ( you'd hope anyway! ) The kennels on display definatley looked top quality Im sure you won't be dissapointed. Tom
  13. Hi Scouse, I was at Highclere yesterday and see the 'country wide' trade stand. I dont think it stopped raining for the two days, so wouldn't surprise me if they are stuck. They deffinatley looked the business. Im sure it'll be worth the wait. Tom
  14. Her feet are ok shes very nimble with her turns, the brothers are pretty solid. Just trying to be careful with her as we got one layed up with stitches.
  15. Well alot of people have mentioned the deerhound. My dad has just read a book on deerhounds and the brother that I got to her is about 24" and about 50lb. He has all of the deerhound characteristics.
  16. I guess that was aimed at mine? Yeah shes good on the lamp, not much about at the moment though. She seems to have good work rate but wouldnt rate her on very long runs. Shes retrived shoot hares doubled up with her brother but going to wait till next winter as shes only 15 months.
  17. Heres my little bitch. The dam is a Whippet greyhound collie X. The sire is the same with about 1/4 bearded collie in it. She 21" and is only 25lbs
