    in my experience most lurchers with a rough coat are described,as having deerhound,in them in the not to distant past,but the truth of the matter (in my opinion,and certainly true aroun here)is that there isnt that many deerhounds about,i cant remember seeing one let alone enough of them to have bred half the lurchers in england :11:

    hi, first off id like to say ,nice site,its nice to read the musing's of some like minded folk,im from the north east ,near darlington,started ferreting in my early teens,now 35.had a couple of bitsa lurchers,and a couple of terriers,never done any digging with them,then relationships and work got in the way,so i had a 8 year break,due to a slight disability and not being able to work,i got a little terrier,and one thing led to another and now have a patterdale,a border lakey,and a saluki,grey,whippet,blend,and a couple of ferrets,i can see there some keen lads on here,good hunting
