are the one's that are really dark chocolate/ black colour i always thought they were just a differant line of polecats but someone was talking bout them and he called then a name which i can't remember and its driving me insane cheers jakk
funny you mention that... yeh needless to say between the hammering of the poles and my jack russell yelping every 2 seconds it was a lost cause but at least it got me out.
thats a gorgeous dog u got there mate i think at the minute i'm siding to the collie x whippets side of things would they be big enough to catch the occasional hare though
i may have to ask around and try and tag along and see some differant types actually working i think i'm going towards a collie x i think, but what difference does the greyhound or whippet make
hi i'm just wondering if there are any gamekeepers in the derbyshire area needing a free hand as its always been something i've wanted to get some exprience in, even if its for a day or so i don't mind thank you Jakk

i went down to the farm this morning to see if there was owt about and i saw something that was about the size of a leveret but it had no black on its ears and its ears where huge i actually thought it was a leveret but as a started walking again it ran down a nearby warren has anyone else seen or heard of rabbits and hares cross breeding before cheers in advance
I've got 2 jills i'd like to take out of season but i'm also looking for another ferret and i remember reading that you can use hobbles or hoblets to take them out so can someone tell me the differences between them please cheers for your help jakk
i just watched it, its hard to believe that hares barely exist in some parts of the country i always see a dozen or so when i'm out with the gun or longnet.
i've been out this morning i worked it with 4 poles no bunnies but i've got the hang of it so hopefully i will get a better result next time cheers for all your help
