The line my red dog beleive it or not comes from a 1st x lab greyhound,accidental mating were a lab got into my mates run and lined one of his greyhounds this would be 20 or so years ago now and the lab is pretty much diluted these days but the lad had some great sport with the resulting pup she didn,t miss much hence why he bred from her. I think your mate will do ok with these pups for genral allround lurcher work.

Went on some permission earlier deffinatley not the best of nights really still quite not much about.Grounds still to hard really,managed to get a few runs tho and picked up three bunnies so at least i didnt come home with an empty bag.

Took the pup out earlier nothing special she ran seven rabbits and put four in the bag, she did ok for her first proper taste,i,me just glad the collision she had last month doesent seem to of put her off. Sorry no pics.

I hope your dads ok,it really isn,t a good idea for your dads blood to boil like that at his age but what else can you do in that situation. He deservs a medal having to go through that,i hope this doesen,t have a to big of an affect on him phisicly and mentaly but for him to try and see the good and strong points and feel duly proud of himself,which he more than should do standing up to those evil b*****ds.All the best

If its just one man and his dog fair enough running your dog without slip is fine and i enjoy running my dog this way but if either you have more than one dog and your not lamping off the van and you may be in company say for example the lamping comp then you,d have to run with a slip, surely it depends on the situation at the time.

As we all know the season is so nearly here and if your like me you will be like a kid waiting for christmas to arrive. Im putting this up to get us all in the mood and hopefully people will pull there fingers out and put some more of there tales up. This experience happened a few year ago before the ban it was before my red dog was on the scene,my old bitch was lame so me being keen and still wanting to get out i took my mates two dogs to a spot local as the car wasn't running well.As i said i was keen but i was keen and stupid this night :wacko: ,as not only was the first field i lamped
