Been offered a little whippet, lovely little thing from good working lines. I have a 6 month old lurcher on her own in kennel at moment after getting rid of my whippet last month as she didn't make the grade. Now is it easy enough to bring both of them on do you think or is it too much? Have any yous brought two on together before? Plus I'm thinking it would be a good bit of company for her as she's been whining a lot in the kennel ever since I got rid of my whippet.

Think you have too much time on your hands hes not training them... it sounds in a way that he is seeing if they will be good workers in the future, and not passing on shit ferret kits which sounds decent of him. You can't tell that at 10-12 weeks old by a ferret running through a tube ! You won't know if there any good until you start working them ! My lurcher pup chases and picks up a ball does that mean its gonna make a good rabbit dog ?? You can't tell feck all, all you can do is br

I had the pup out today 5months and coming on great. She hasn't seen a thing and I mean nothing until today she spotted a squirrel she looked at it for a few seconds then took a gentle jog up to it (needless to say the squirrel was up the tree straight away) then saw another 15 foot away but just watched it kinda run off instead of making a move. Surprised she didn't take off after it, after all it's ment to be there instinct to chase. Anyone else had this with a pup ?

Willing to pay a couple of quid for a couple but I'm not paying 15 20 quid a kit ( which is what some ppl have sent me pm's about) not bothered about colour just want them out of good working strain.
