went ferreting last week got the first dig with mk3 locator worked a treat was perfect all ive been hearing is problems with them on here mine works perfect am really happy with it anyway broke through really quick found ferret with rabbit these locators save so much time worth every penny this is the dig

well done stubby its always a joy watching the dogs work as they grow up post a picture of ted -
the wood i use to build is 12mm ply and the bow back piece is 4mm because it needs to bend good luck mate

alrite mate im new to lamping but went with mate two or so years ago with greyounds and the filter was used to see their eyes, because if you look into the field and think you see a rabbit then shine without filter and its not a rabbit you will spook the rest of the rabbits because its bright without filter whereas if you shine with red filter and spot their eyes you will know its a rabbit then take filter off and slip dog thinks thats the purpose hope this helps

right people i havent alot of experience with dogs ive got a terrier and a mungrel with a bit of whippet and they suite me fine for ferreting but i am getting really hooked on lamping and dont know what dog would suit me for it but i also want to use it for ferreting to ive seen a few beddyxwhippet and really like them would they do are they easy to train. cheers
