The red fillter seems to help Ian as the rabbits are getting used to the lamp now been using the red fillter on the lazerlite for spotting them and running them with the lightforce .Sometimes i have missed seeing rabbits with the fillter on if they are clapped faceing away from you and you don't pick up the eye but then shone the field with the white light and seen them. Or it might be i need glasses

Out lamping again with Fieldmarshall moon was covered by clouds and had a bit of wind up the dogs caught the first six they ran then my dog missed one that got through a gate way .We didn't walk that many fields but got some good runs. Fieldmarshall just wanted a few runs to sharpen his dog for later in the week .

Out lamping with Fieldmarshall last night nice bit wind up . We went up the on the top fields Max dogs ran well Bez had some long slips and picked up good Fieldmarshall is pleased the way he is running down the beam on the long slips. Makes all the difference when the wind is up enjoyed the night ended up with 16 . a pic for Max lol

Had a days ferreting with Fieldmarshall / Tomo/ Rambo and a mates 8 year old lad. when Tomo and Rambo got to the farm we ate all our pie's and set off it was one of them days when the rabbits were reluctant to bolt and we had a few digs Rambo's was the worst one he dug that many boulders out the ground i thought he was building a stone wall not much was going right lost a few rabbits that slipped out the nets we had about 12 when we had to go because i was at work Tomo and Rambo were still ferreting so they might have caught some more . I don't know who said ferret that part of the farm

dodger it think there is some dogs from the same lines as nuttal on the dams side .wales2829 they are lurcherxlurcher the black and white is a mix of beddy / greyhound/whippet with a bit deerhound way back the ruff dog has a fair % of saluki blood in him and probably a bit beddy in him too.

Had a look out with Fieldmarshall lamping not a bad night cloud was covering the moon and there was a bit wind up we lamped the same spot we did last week got some good runs the rabbits don't half shift on the cropped grass paddocks had a enjoyable night dogs had some good strikes rolling over after they picked up my dog stayed sound fingers crossed he stays that way . a few pic's

Had a look out with Fieldmarshall for a few hours tonight we went on some new land Fieldmarshalls got not bad fields for running nice and flat grass paddocks not the best of nights for the lamp but we got some runs .We might do a bit better on a good night only downer was the dogs got 2 with mixy a bit bright

Had a look out with Field marshal and a mate tonight there was no wind so had to give the dogs long slips and unusual for this farm not that many rabbits out Field marshals dog ran well not missing much all night my mate had the sister to Field marshals dog out first time the bitch has been on the lamp its only run day time the rabbits it got onto it ran good and picked up 2 my pup had 3 runs but didn't catch they got in the walls or cover but was pleased he has had some more experience .

Had a look out with Max Tomo and Rambo it was raining and not much wind Max had his young bitch out 10 months i had my black/white dog we split up and lamped different parts of the farm Max's bitch was running well picking up rabbits with a good strike my dog picked his first 3 up ok but then it looked like a old injury might be playing up the next rabbit he ran went over a collapsed old wall me and Max thought he would be injured but he kept on it and caught it we started to make our way back Max's bitch picked a few more up on the way back .we got back to the cars and waited for Tomo and Ra

this bitch is out of ... dam lucher to lucher,with colie ,saluki, wolfhound and god knows what else the dam stood 23 and weighed 44 lbs sire was a springer spanial who must have mated her thruogh the kennel bars didnt know sh was preggers till about 6 weeks . here a few pics Put the pics up for TOMO think its one of his old dogs.

We had a look out ferreting with tuckers lad and his cousin we were doing a new spot that we hadn't done before so we had to look for the warrens and watch where the rabbits went in .The first holes we did i thought we would get nothing as the ferrets showed a few times then we heard the thumping we all like to hear and the rabbits started bolting got 4 out 3 in the nets and one to the dog a nice start .We moved on and did some warrens that looked like they would hold a few netted up and got one :11: we did some more that looked good but just held one or two . Had a look out ferreting with Tomo and his mate and fieldmarshal not a bad day weather wise bit cold first thing but soon warmed up we did a hedge first and got a few out then Tomo and pad went to do some bigger spots with the long nets and we did some 3 and 4 holers we got another 3 rabbits then made our way to were Tomo had netted a big warren they had done well and had bolted a fair few out. We moved onto a big warren next to a tree the rabbits were running from one hole to the next so we put a few purse nets down to try and stop them but we only got one in the purse nets and maybe 5 in the

Had a look out today for a bit ferreting i was using my ferrets and 2 lads were shooting while fieldmarshal had a walk round with his lurcher . I had a young jill out first time i had used her and she was working well by the end of the day she had bolted a canny few .Fieldmarshal had caught 4 with the dog on his walk about and we had got a few shooting and the lads had missed a few :whistle: :whistle: :whistle: .

Fieldmarshal rang me up to see if i wanted a look out with the lamp so i decided to take my 9 month old pup out for a few runs not the best night for the lamp but what the f**k .We still had a few runs even with the moon and the lack of wind Fieldmarshals dog ran well and picked up 8 my young dog had 2 it's only his third time on the lamp and you can see he is a pup when he runs but he is getting the hang of it
