  1. Hi mate that thingie thing is the ejector tooth witch can be repaired but it will proably cost alot, you either better getting a new bolt or gun! as gunsmiths arnt cheep. hope its what your after mate. p.s take it to your local gun shop.

  5. went out fisrt thing this morning to zero the new rifle as i have just got it back from getting screw cut, nice mild clear morning with a steady tail wind. put the board(an old door) up at 150m in my top feild that the farmer has dumped a few loads of mud(good backstop), fired the round down, miles out made some what i thought were enought ajustments second went down and bugger me i went 15clix left and 10 up whitch made nearly no differance so 30 more clix left and 25up and bingo 5 rounds in a half decent group(with a tailwind). so looking forward to next week looking for some charlie.
  6. yes it was from WRG and yes did did get it for a pound or few off!! just zeroed it today!!
  7. Its a 223 and the glass is a sworoski 8x56, the mag is a 4 round plastic mag and the trigger guard is stainless. hope it answers for you!

  9. Took it out to try and rezero as they took the scope off to thread and its beeing a bitch to zero. so will be out before the sparrows....

  12. Hi all, I have a 14month old jack"poppy dog" whom is a bitch, i am having difficulty getting her to stay on the heel and she is a very nervous dog when i recall her, don't know if its just down to "bad" training or not any help would be Most grateful. cheers ss
  13. Just brought my self a tikka t2 in 223 and at the mo is getting screw cut, just wondering what the jet z mod is like compared to the pred t8? was advised the jet was the better mod !! but are they? Ss
  14. Went with the SGCA as i read alot of comments about basc and how they never helped when needed and if you go on to the SGCA it is for the uk and not just scotland.

  19. just looking at getting a howa 1500 tomorrow and have scrolled throu the site to fine comments on different makes and grain to use and keep falling at the first so if you either have/had/ or know of a consistent round/grain i would much appreciate. cheers ss
  20. again thanks for all your replies, i have shot a 308 howa 1500 with a t8 and yes i had arms like Garth after it was bloody heavy but never the less performed brill after 50 rounds, the shooting i mainly will be doing is foxing so the rapid round use is not that essential but will have a loo at the remi sps as i was my second choice.
