well what can i say i would recommend wyreside to any carp angler 100% fish are in mint con people really friendly. me and my mates were there for a week i banked 5 carp and lost a cat fish and 2 other good size carp i had a 15lb 7lb 17lb 15lb and a 19lb 2oz one of my mates had a fish on the 3rd day that was 14lb my other mate didnt get a fish till the last day at 4am and that was 15lb 5oz he was gutted he didnt get nowt all week he was ready to pack fishing in for good..

got a phone call off my mate yesterday who is a care taker at a school asking me if i could go up and clear all the rabbit because the kids are trying to grow veg to sell at there summer fate and the rabbits are just coming along and eating them so went up lastnight to have a look around there was a good few about alot of young ones but they got to be done aswell dont like killing them but its got to be done going up tonight with the dog and gun will get some pics and put them up tomoz

The fishery looks good i was going to have a go there but i have been put of,alot of people i no who have been there say it can be realy hard fishing,one lad i no done 72hours without a run,but then again they have had the odd good fish, im going fishing to france for carp in 2weeks i can not wait!!! hope the info helps hope you have a great time in france mate me and my mates are going next year. tight lines

me and my mates are going fishing to Wyreside Fishery in june has anyone on here fished the lake if so what was it like and if you banked anything what bait was you useing.
