  2. thank you for your replys what if when shes had her break i swop the toys and dummy for dead game? would that make it more interesting for the pup or will i have the problem of her eating it ? thanks people Neil
  3. Ok mate thank you I'm gonna give the training a break for a cuple of week then bring it bk steady Can I ask is there a reason for the design / width of a lurcher / greyhound etc collar does it support ? Thanks Neil

  7. I've been reading posts on here and see people being told not to push um too young I am keen to get her out but scared to wreck her with my lack of experience, I don't mind being told I'm wrong tho after all I'm here to learn xx

  10. Thanks for all your replies it's my first lurcher you see and all a big help I've also just got a copy of purdys progress thanks to mr pit, I wish I had that from the start lol, is there any other tips or info you could giv to a beginner I would be very grateful Thanks again Neil

  12. hi all just after a bit of advice my 10 month old lurecher pub Beddy whippet x collie greyhound wont retrieve anymore she has lost interest in toy ( rope balls squeaky toys ) and the dummy she was doing really well then just stopped she will somtimes go get the toy pick it up then just drop it again and comes back to me. can anyone help? ive tried to play tug with her but she doesnt want to do that either Thanks Neil

  19. thanks mate is there any pattern to a dogs growth rate or can some dogs grow slower than others? is there any chance she could just make 18 / 19" would this effect her working ability i have her as a ferreting/ rabbiting dog? sorry for all the questions thanks Neil
