    Got myself into all kinds of shitty spots in pursuit of old Charlie boy .this bit in particular .Full dense gorse patch, and the young dog not moving old charlie boy .Young dog was in 1 n half till I broke through and Charlie bolted and away ???

    Young flying Brian getting loaded up ready ,this little dog bolted hundreds of Charlie's from different spots , pipes, Bales , massive spots and even rock piles ,although I don't think I,ll ever get 1 as good as him .

    Adders

    Anyone else has a problem with adders , my dad lost a terrier in the 80,s with a adder bite .but hasn't been many others over years .but in last 4 ,5 weeks I've seen 6 .in same area .this 1 actually was a nasty twat and fired its self up against the terrier .Close!!

    Very old pic , but the story is ,Brian was in a storm drain for about 1 half hours with the nastiest bxstard Charlie I've ever accounted for .it was causing havoc on spot I have and I tried lamping it ,trapping it and eventually after a few days of rain ,Brian marked the old drain . It goes between 2 fields but is actually dry now. The fox showed twice but went back .all Brian would do was bay and scream he's head off but the beauty of Brian is I could shout him out .so after the 1 half hours I shouted him , waited about 10 mins and Charlie bolted .and was sorted .many ,many brilliant days w

    These are the 2 I lost ,chased a fox for 3 fields .in 30 years I've never seen a fox go the way it did .but it made it but them 2 never .it was a quite road but a main road was shut and had been diverted that way .sad day .

    I changed phones and lost all access codes .plus last season Had a tragedy with losing 2 young dogs , both killed in a freak road accident .both very good dogs .has taken a while to get over it .
