    hello thanks for the advice skycat it was very helpful as you saying in the ad the dog no's he has done wrong. yes i have shouted and called he but i dont beleave in hitting a dog because of some one else bad training once again i thank you and all there other members for there advice i will keep you all up to date with the training thanks martin

    hi all can anyone lead me in the right direction i have a 18 month old wheaten x lagona whippet i have had him 3 months now i am having trouble with him when i take him out on the lamp he is a good lamping dog untill he miss the rabbit he gos into a strop and wont come back to me he will run off and i takes about 20 min to get him back he knows he has done wrong because when he comes back he hangs his head in shame ? but when he do's get a rabbit all he want to do is crush ever bone in the rabbits body and when you walk to him to retrive it from him he wont give it up he will run about 15 fe

    hello can anyone give me some info on how to sort out a broken toe or flat toe is there any easy way to sort it out or will it effect him later on in life if it is left. he has no probs running on it as it happened about a year ago many thanks robbo

    after having an op in january i had to re home my beddy whippet cross greyhound which was heart breaking so though the summer i haveconverted my shed in to a kennel for my new dog which i am hopfully picking up a 8 month old whippet greyhound i can wait . can anyone give me some info for the right step forwards with this cross which i will only use for rabbiting many thanks robbo

    i went out sunday night the wind was great went to my normal spots and started on the golf course there where a few rabbits out she worked here socks of but was not having any joy picking up she had 5 chases we went back to the motor and drove down the lane about 200yards and came across a playing field which was rough ground i had a look with the lamp and there was loads running around so got the dog out and started working her after about 3 missus this rabbit was hoping around so followed it and slipped her on it she chase and picked up great this was her first rabbit on the lamp she brought

    i went out with me dog on monday night this was her 1st time on a lamp this rabbit was just sitting there she didnt have a scooby what to do the rabbit started running and the dog just stood there and watched after what seemed a life time of standing she went after it no joy in picking up ??? i went out with her last night to she if she was really not with the lamping the same fields but later the first rabbit we came across i got within 5 feet from it and it made a bolt for it i slipped her and she was on it like a flash but still no pick up she had 7 good runs from one field but no pick up

    ran the dog last night 2nd time on the lamp ever she had 6 runs spot on with it all just little more time to pick up

    very nice looking dog there poacher3161 the person i got this dog of cut its coat round the face and from the picture u put up i cant wiat for her to get all her face hair back
