    Just a thought, but wouldn't it be a good idea to padlock the traps open in urban areas? What would happen if some dick were to come along and cut your cable ties off and reset the trap? For the cost of a few locks, I would want to be certain that I could prove that I'd taken 'all reasonable measures' if I was in your position. No offence intended; I know that you are good at what you do, but I thought it was worth mentioning.

    Whin, I can quite see what you mean, and understand that you want to promote 'fair play'. The point I was trying to make was that you didn't help that cause by continuing to repeat the same thing over and over again and accusing people of being cheats and thieves made that worse. I'm sure you are a genuine sportsman in every sense of the word, but why you think that because I no longer own a running dog I can't comment is beyond me. The winner was decided by the competitors and the judge at the time. No amount of ranting by you can change that. It's up to the contestants and the judge to decide a winner; and their decision should be final. They should not be subjected to your rantings for weeks (if not months) afterwards. LET IT GO!     Well as someone who no longer owns a running dog, and hasn't entered the competition, I'm going to be brave and comment on this nonsense thread. LDR made a very bold decision when he agreed to run another competition this year; especially after all the crap last year. I thought the idea was for people to meet up and have a bit of a 'craic', not a serious money making venture by anyone.
