  1. Holly molly we definitely don’t see these things in Australia we just build our cagers   I will post some photos on what I have built over the years my only question is how often do you clean it out, as I have a area in in all my cagers where I have mesh on the floor and a tray under it to catch all their poop ,

  2. Looks great personally I would put one hole on each level and if you ever wanted to close it of just put a concrete paver over it     That’s what I have done to my large cage for when I need to seperate my ferrets.

  3. Is their any one out on this forum from New Zealander that has actually seen the problem with the rabbits over there I was put onto this by the rabbit whisperer a while ago and is the problem still ongoing. Interesting watching and I think this is the one where a man shoots a rabbit and the lady doing the interview walks in front of the gun afterwards .

  4. I have put up the odd ferret free to good home as they were definitely no good for hunting but make great pets not once l have had anyone complain about distance and have been more then great full for it.  I don’t let just anyone take it I do make sure that they have had experience with ferrets in the past.

  5. I think all pets should be regarded as family not jus an animal that lives in a cage and gets fed and forgotten about or a dog that is kept in a backyard and never walked. If you respect your animals they will respect you. You have the right attitude with your animals and great videos well done.

  6. Your videos are always great once again well done. I have always ran my new ferrets with their mum ten mom Milly who is a great hunter the first season the young ones aren’t to bad but come second season they go very well , I only keep the bucks or as called in other parts of the world Hobbs , and I get them cut to stop the fighting when they are in season but from time to time they seem to still have their off days were they don’t perform as well. Unsure why. One again another great video. Hope to see another one soon.

  7. Down here in Australia we in the summer we hit temperatures of up to 45 degrees and what I have been doing is I run the fine sprinkler heads they use for ferns it’s a very fine mist and doesn’t use a great deal of water I got the idea from sirbless who is on this site. Before that the same as you guys frozen water bottles and a pond of water. The one I have heard of was a esky with o hole in it as a sleeping box with frozen water bottle in it which I think would work well.  I have looked at doing timers with electric switches to turn on sprinklers but down here when we have heatwaves the power often goes out. Spraying water , ice and a swimming pool all helps even a mud pit . If you are really game bring them in the house with the air conditioning on. That’s something I would definitely would NOT DO. Good luck with it guys it all helps.  Arry good looking ferret you have their.

  8. Start swapping their bedding around and wait till the kit is older. I have done it a few times and been lucky.  They will still fight but not as much. Keep a spray bottle handy with water in it and spray them if one latches onto the other one. Done this a few times it helps and has not effected the ferrets in any way. Good luck with it.
