    Yes Moocher Like you I wouldn't want an adult dog ,even though I might feel sorry for them you just don't know what you are getting the only exception would be if I knew the dog well already like if it was a relations or friends . Other than being dragged to prison kicking and screaming there is know way I would ever let a dog go, good or bad . Luckily though I never had a world beater I never had a bad dog so far touch wood.     No the main one was he was scared of other dogs, any dog no matter how small ,if he saw a dog hundreds of yards away he would instantly start looking for an exit, but with in a mile of our house he was the opposite he would rip apart anything that looked at him the wrong way .I have seen similar in Dingo and Wolves in documentaries .When out of their turf they are cowards but when back on their turf they become brave to fight for their ground. Not something I would expect in a domestic dog it drove me mad it was only with age he seem to grow out of it ,but not until he was about 7 or 8 ye

    Here some pics of my old 3/4 greyhound 1/4 Bearded Border .He was 26 inch a grand son of Richard Jones bred by a bloke called Steve in Doncaster .In the the pics he was about 10 years old, he was a good dog ,he seemed to catch bunnies without even trying ,but had some strange habits.He's been dead 15 years now.

    Harry I am looking for a male Bedlington cross greyhound pup. I recently at the start of march, had to put down my 18 year old Bedlington terrier and 6 weeks before I had to put down my 14 year old greyhound. And now I have no dog for the first time in nearly 40 years.I planned to cross mine because you never see genuine beddy x greyhounds for sale, but I have never had the room to breed a litter. Then the last few years I wanted a pup but it wouldn't be fair on the old dogs and not got enough room for 3 dogs. So I hope you let us know when you get the pups. The

    My greyhound bitch come on heat every 9 months you could set your watch with her. She was track bred and the breeder was not keen when I said I was not going to race her I was using her for hunting. Nobody told her she was bred for the track I paid my deposit for her at 4 weeks old and picked her up at 12 weeks old when registered with the coursing club and jabbed up. From that day she never met another greyhound until she was about 4 years old she lived with my Bedlington terrier and went hunting with Lurchers as far as she knew she was a rapid Lurcher just not a very bright

    gibbo I just put down two months ago my 14 year old Greyhound bitch who was still catching bunnies and squirrels a year ago. Me and most of my extended family have always had Lurchers and Terriers ,so when my 3/4 Greyhound Collie died I thought I would try a pure bred Greyhound. I thought if I bring it up with Lurchers and Terriers ,I would be able to train her just like a Lurcher I accepted it wouldn't be the brightest but I didn't need a dog that could read just catch stuff and bring it back to me. Catch stuff she did, she also surprised me how good a nose she had, ne
