  1. I've done a little racing with mine, mostly I lamp and ferret with them. Can't see why anyone would struggle alternating between work and racing, only thing I'd mention is that they're a different crowd at racing.
  2. Try a rabbit in the above marinade and leave it in it for 24hrs plus. I kid you not, even my wife loves this one.
  3. Just to add, obviously only use young tender rabbits for this. You can adjust amounts and add different spices as you like, BUT do try marinading rabbit in a bag for a day before cooking - honestly, you'll never just feed them to the ferrets again!
  4. Here's two.... Keep it simple, pan fry in loads of butter (more than you think sensible), plenty of salt and pepper. Brown surfaces then oven for ten to fifteen. Second recipe.... And this one takes rabbit to a new level..... Get a large sandwich bag or zip lock, into it put a generous dash of olive oil, a large squirt of garlic paste, two teaspoons of salt, one pepper, two corriander powder, two teaspoons of smoked paprika and some lemon juice. Mix this up inside the bag by rubbing it together a bit. Add your hare quarters or if bag is big enough the whole rabbit. Rub mari
  5. Never tried Chinese water, but I stand by comment - hare is superior to venison. Side note, muntjac is sweeter than roe in my opinion, and so better.
  6. Absolutely. Pan fry it in lots of butter (when you think you've put too much in, add more), plenty of salt and pepper, brown it off then into oven for 15-20mins.
  7. Maybe not breakfast, but hare flesh is my favourite meat. If people don't like it, then they haven't been cooking it right. Better than venison by several degrees.
