  1. Wow they are so nice, (Page 1) wish we had them in Aussie, instead we have Sambar (Where I am anyway) big ugly hairy bloody things that even a scud missile has trouble putting down.
  2. I'm curious why some mounts are renowned for leaving ring marks and yet others are perfect regardless of price, Firstly I always lap the rings, I spread the rings as I fit the scope, on some rings / mounts this seems to be very necessary so I take as much care as possible and still at times end up with ring marks which seem to be design related and not linked to price, by this I mean for example (only my experience) Leupold rings seem tight to fit and require prying open the rings and very careful fitment and even after being super careful and lapping they nearly always leave ring marks which
  3. Hi all, I was hoping somebody may be shooting one of the new CZ 457 in WMR, keen to get any feedback from shooters with Hands on Experience, thoughts on the good and the bad would be most appreciated.
  4. Annoying, shot at least 400 pellets on the Saturday and not a whisper, went out with a mate yesterday to do some Chrony work and first shot she was whistling and kept it up all day, it's not loud but one of those things that you know it's there and begins to drive you batty after a while, if it wasn't just fully serviced I would be heading for the study screwdriver in hand, but I know it's not any O rings or such as she is not loosing air, just that dam whistle, thinking maybe they have not put enough silicon grease on the regulator when they put her together, but I'm clutching at straws, anyw
  5. Hi Phil, Mitch ,, I got an answer back from Liam, he basically recommended that if I'm around 860-870 fps with the MK11 heavies that is where I should be, the Regulator is indeed set at factory to 120 bar, some are slightly higher, he said that to try and do anything after this will come at a cost of either shot count, accuracy, or both, As I am not suffering accuracy issues or shot count from what the factory publishes, best let sleeping dogs lay.
  6. Hi guys a quick question, I got my rifle back from tuning and it is now going great, but! every time I fire it, just after the shot there is a slight whistling noise, almost sounds like something is filling, perhaps the regulator, the whistle was there before but came and went, I put it down to needing a service or tune after 30,000 pellets and solids. The importer and gunsmith replaced all seals and O rings adjusted the regulator to 120 and now I am getting 870fps with 33.9 heavies, and the accuracy is superb, but this whistling noise whilst not loud is driving me mad. I rang the agent and he
  7. I also use 33.9 JSB's in my Royale 500 .25 and either my Chrony has seen better days or I am way under powered and time to tune the regulator but the top range of my velocity is only 860 fps with a shot count of only 65 before the velocity starts to head south. I believe the regulator is set at 110 bar but don't hold me to it, I had it for over a year and it is superbly accurate, so I have been hesitant to muck about with it as I have hardly missed bunnies out to even 100. Have you guys had much to tuning the regulator for more velocity, kind of need a step by step on this. Thanks
  8. Thank you for allowing me to join, I am a keen hunter and Air Rifle shooter, I only have a few rifles and shotguns but they all get used and are definitely nice, well I think anyway. Mt arms include an Anschutz 1710 DHB in .22 with a Swarovski Z5, I also use a Browning BLR in .308 for Deer, next my Favourite is the FX Royale 500 in .25 with a Bushnell Tactical 4.5-24x50 Illuminated, and lucky last I have a Miroku Deluxe grade in 12G 30" which is my go to gun for Sporting and the annual Pheasant hunt we have been going on for over 20 years. I hunt Sambar Deer and have taken some good Deer over
