  1. Why are you so interested? I have zero interest in you or your dogs. Your a proper saddo all you do is slate and ruin topics thinking everyone is interested in your stupid opinions.
  2. Why hang around and comment? The Sad Bitter THL Troll .... should be your username
  3. You lads have it good down there for green laning, its on my to do list to have a few days down that way on the enduro bikes.
  4. Few graves stones in random places high up in the cheviot hills Northumberland, its an eerie feeling when coming across them.
  5. On his way shortly after the picture was taken. 2021 rut.
  6. Only catch what you can eat, no chance I'm eating a fox
  7. Not the best head gear on this buck but he was a big animal and the tracking action was great I remember it like it was last night and it was over a decade ago in the 2009 rut if I remember correctly. Two dogs went out after him Maurice and Bess(half x bull). Maurice was a young dog still learning his trade at this point in time, he got distracted by a few doe's running across in front as he was running down the beam to get on the buck he took off after them, Bess just continued down the beam, Maurice was left to catch up. Bess keeping focus on the job in hand went straight down the beam and g
  8. I havnt allowed game in my lamping motors in well over a decade, it gets towed or hitchs a lift on the bonnet to get picked up in another motor.
  9. The UK is becoming more and more like a police state every year for us indigenous.
  10. What a bitter sad man you are.
  11. I was waiting for that to draw you in, you take the bait every time, you just cannot help being an idiot I could explain and make you look stupid again but why should I you make yourself look bitter and stupid without much or any help
  12. The one thing that I never enjoyed was driving motorways and the hundreds of miles I had to put in, not so bad on the way there with the adrenaline/excitement of what is coming. Pulling onto the motorway at six in the morning after a long night with a few hundred + mile to get home no adrenaline to keep you awake anymore, trying not to fall asleep at the wheel beam me home scotty, ok for the dogs
  13. Walking backwards can be difficult if you forget to use the back strap.
  14. Ran a buck with Maurice once which decided to about turn then try and drive him into the deck, he was so close the only thing he could do was keep running towards it only just missed, he brought it under control pretty quick though. Very aggressive and well up for it that buck was.
  15. They also seem to instinctively sense if the dog behind them means business or is half hearted about its job.
  16. Some critters just stop running turn around to face the music.
  17. Basically what I said then. I have a couple of wild boar x tamworth pigs, the size of the males head and jaw is four times the size of any dog. They finish big knuckle bones easy that the half x bulls have give up on, scary jaw power
  18. Ear hold, my opinion for what its worth. Pigs have only two places a dog can keep a good hold the ear and the lower leg ie hock hoof area. Lower leg hold the dog will take serious damage so its a no brainer which hold they will go for.
  19. Seen it a few times on fallow bucks with Molly her favourite hold was wind pipe just enough to finish the job really quick. Most dogs grab a full mouth of neck not her just the wind pipe she could have them dead really quick doing that.
  20. Yes some dogs just know how to get a deer under control they make their job look really easy, brains and technique.
  21. Graemie on exercise routine, he was Larry's belly brother, sadly he broke his leg in to his second season.
  22. Not strictly true, as I'm getting on in years I need a piss at least twice.
  23. Had a few nice big ones mate, I have no idea what is supposed to be good or bad though. He was a big fiery buck with nice headset, 2014 rut I remember the action as if it was yesterday. Its all about the action for me if I'm honest.
