Yeah their meant to be decent mate, these lads are out in all weathers and swear by them, I’ll see how they go this season and if their still wearing them end of winter I’ll buy some for next year, atb At
I bought rhe jacket and bib this year, I haven't tested it yet.
A few buddies have it a couple of years and they swear by it.
A couple of days last year the rain was flowing down the road in rivers and we were all drowned to the skin. The two lads were bone dry, took off the gear and straight to the pub, not a bother.

Top little dogs hunt all day don’t let their size put you off
Thanks, I have a couple of them here, there good fun.
I find they struggle a bit in the country I hunt which has plenty of high ditches and deep drains.
Compared to the terrier's I find them very easy and biddable. They can be head strong and turn a deaf ear on a line but no worse than my terriers.

Yea she's a beauty.

Sorry Rebel I missed your question. The Hedgehog is very good in stew's as they hold their texture but I like a mix of what I have found fried up with a sliced up bits of smokey bacon little garlic and butter.
The River Cottage Mushroom book has recipes in it as well.
The Hedgehog mushroom are a very safe mushroom and easy to learn.
Another good one that will probably grow in the same place is "The Winter Chanterelle" known as Yellow Legs and it must have a Yellow stalk. These dry really well. When you find one you will probably find thousands, you can't see them then you realise you are treading on them and they are every where around you.
Cheers Arry
Thanks very much Arry, appreciate the reply.
I'll keep an eye out

Thanks Arry, I came across a load of those hedgehog ones last year. I'll keep an eye out.
What do you use them for, what dishes do you add them too?
There wouldn't be a great tradition of using mushrooms in Ireland apart from the field mushrooms and they were either fried or boiled in milk.

I was in Cork June 2000 (?) When the foot and mouth was on. Cork v Munster I think, semis of the hurling Championship.
One team played in blue and yellow, the other in yellow and blue lol.
Cheers, D.
Tipperary v Clare in the Munster championship.
Now if your looking for passion and pride that's where you'll find it

The bizarre thing is, people over here are always saying “what’s the problem with Football in Ireland”.......the answer is three letters......GAA !
If this country and the people put as much passion and enthusiasm into football as they do GAA this little country would be one of the best footballing nations in the world........as it stands, Football is dying on its arse over here.
You hit the nail on the head Wilf. In Ireland the GAA goes to the very fabric of being Irish. It is who you are, where you come from, the pride in the parish, playing with your brothers, relations, friends and neighbours. It is at the centre of almost everything, particularly in rural Ireland. Parish's who have nothing else will have a GAA field. Some great clubs in the cities as well, doing great work to promote the sport.
Soccer doesn't seem to instill that belief or sense of belonging.
Soccer moving to a summer season is going to put the two sports in conflict, competing for players and making young lads choose between one or the other. Which is not good for either sport.
GAA pitch on the Aran Islands. Must have taken some sweat, blood and tears in getting it set up and maintained

I'm wondering if you can keep just 2 hens happily,I'd like to get 2 for my daughter, and the fact they'd have company together, plus I'd like something other than Rhode island reds, any suggestions and opinions on keeping just 2
Wasting your time they wouldn't last 5 minutes in the northside.
They'd end up on Wackers/Sullys/Spuds plate for dinner, haha
