Hi Mate, There are 3 distinct types of top lever spring on a side by side all having slightly different shape and size.The types are a "Greener type" a "Scott type" and a "Continental Type".Yours will be a Continetal type.All springs come oversize or failing that a decent gunsmith and were talking old school type gunsmith.can make one from scratch from 3/32" spring steel.Either way i think you will need the services of a gunsmith..

Hi, It is legal to use rifles on Canada geese under the terms of the general license.The non-toxic law does not apply to rifles on Canada geese because it is a single projectile,it only applies to shotguns.

Hi Tom, The 69 was over Frodsham marsh,Didnt get to shoot the Dee.I also have a flight pond eleswhere where i probally totaled about 25 duck,although not as good as my 2007-2008 season.Alot of Teal about all season and pintail numbers seemed to be up around Jan.I use Gamebore 3" no 4 steelfibre 32grams,find them a good strong cartridge.Let the duck come into range and no probs.

Filled in my bag return on Friday and totaled 69 for the past season.Went out for evening flight on the 20th Feb and ended up with 2 wigeon and 1 mallard,so a very nice end of season for me.

Had no problems with the lads on the Dee,i sent my application and 6 months after i was accepted as a probationary member.
