    Yes, it was nice to see you again Phil, sorry I didn't get much chance to chat had to be off early last night. Still managed to get three goes in though as it was a pretty quiet evening. I think we've managed six bell target evenings as we didn't know about the first few either. It's been nice to see my kids (& me) improve week on week. I'm having a go at building a bell target to practice on at home to keep our hand in until it starts up again.

    The dioptre sights seem a big improvement on the standard sights but they're still a bit of a work in progress at the moment, I've just had to make an arrestor pin to stop the rear sight from moving. I'm also trying to make another eye piece with replaceable elements so I can play about with different aperture sizes to see what effect it has. Trouble is the bell target dates will have finished before I get the HW30 finished!

    Very very sad, but why is the first call always to tighten up the gunlaws? The owner of the gun was breaking the law by allowing a 13 yr old access to it unsupervised anyway, just prosecute the irresponsible owner to the letter of the current laws and draw a line under the whole sad event.

    Yes, that's me Phil. I joined up on this forum on this forum this week. I rang the bell once this time and was then shown up by my 15 yr old who rang it twice in a row with his smk .

    Treat yourself to a pistol Phil! It was my first time using dioptre sights last night too after fitting one to my HW30.

    Hi all. I've just joined the forum, my name's Neil and I live in Lincolnshire. I'm a keen air rifle shooter. I've never been hunting, until I'm certain my shooting is accurate enough I wouldn't consider it. The forum was recommended to me by a member on here that I was chatting to at bell target shooting.
