Some one on here recommended the Book of the Bitch I believe and it recommends temperature at which pups need to be kept, I kept a thermometer with the pups and adjusted the temperature either by moving the lamp up and down with the chain or by a variable voltage type plug which I brought from were I got the lamp it allows you to adjust the voltage which adjusts the heat out put. Ok so why not just move the lamp up and down on the chain, as you move it up and down the area size changes so and uoy get either a large colder area or a hot spot, both ways worked for me, and all the pups survived,
