Have a few lessons first try a 12g,20g different makes and see what fits you best. Side by side or over/under for first shotgun you can go game shooting with these most don't like semi autos.plenty of practice

223 all you need plenty of power and range,barrel last longer,no problem getting ammunition if you want to shoot further get a 243

I use a beretta sp 20g with rc snipe 28gram no6 wouldn't use any heavier with a 20g,rc top carts

Cracking shotgun 10 years of good service off mine never missed a beat would buy beretta again. Get it serviced now and again should last you years

I had one about 15 years ago nice gun.ejector spring needed replacing after two years but other than that was a good shotgun traded it in for a beretta when I was a bit more flush, but would have another one
