  1. That was 98/99 season dabhand, father and son two completely different types of worker. I see you have a few yourself.
  2. Another old pic of him with his son who did some hard graft with an old friend in Kildare.
  3. Bryan I'm not familiar with the name Flanagan pal, but I bred him anyway.
  4. RH I could say a few well known names in the breeding of them but it would mean nothing if I told u a few I bred never made the grade when the others in the litter worked well, I just breed worker to worker simple as that and keep back the pups that are flyers. I've been breeding terriers nearly 30 years RH and you can still produce shit off good blood as you well know but I find its a percentage game, the lowest percentage of non workers in a litter the better, we are all told about the workers aren't we
  5. No relation chesney, he was before gurya and a different type of worker, although I mated gurya to his granddaughter and they turned out well, there's a lot of stuff in a lot of lads kennels down from that stuff, in England and Ireland, it just clicked with the dogs I bred.
  6. Fair enough, size wouldn't put me off he could throw big you never know until u try, gameness comes first for me, lets hope you get a litter out of him soon enough.
  7. Bfp your dog brings back memories of a dog I had a while ago, the pic was taken the next morning after being to ground for 12 hours and a 15ft dig with a JCB out of an old quarry. I have his gr gr gr gr grandson, if you get me!!
  8. Just curious Shane is there any reason why you haven't bred off the 7 yr old dog, he looks a good solid type, I'm being nosey aren't I lad
  9. A little cracker Zilver looks like he's full of character, any nuttall in him, maybe!!
  10. Great pic young buck, three nice terriers.
  11. Prosecutor Mr Russell, (really) typical Russell,s they usually fail.
  12. A strong bitch of mine 20yr ago, a distant relation to my 6mth old pup in a recent post.
  13. Knowledgeable experienced dogmen are far more important than any line of terrier, because without them there would be no line.
  14. If you gift your pups to trusted lads FD you wouldn't have to express your breeding conditions, it should just come as standard as to how things work. If I thought I had to explain anything to someone I knew they wouldn't get one in the first place, and vice versa. (I'm not picking through your post by the way).
  15. The one above reminds of this one I bred 18 yrs ago, he's was 5mths here
  16. Two nice solid dogs RH, do you still have stuff down from them.
  17. Finally seen the culprit that made the tracks, I didn't think it was a fox because of the distance between each print was too far apart, but I was wrong I woke at 3 this morning to the dogs kicking off and went into the kitchen and kept the light off and shone a torch out and there was a huge fox there, I shit myself and thought it was a dog at first, anyway he was a beast and now I know!!!
  18. I'm sure the first pic is a red squirrel the next one could be a pine marten and the third is a hare, all these were within 50 yards from each other on the road behind my place.
