  1. i feed mine on the red mills engage 50/50 that and barf.best dry food i've found.good size and firmness of crap.they eat it all straight down but i always soak it in lots of warm water for a minute because i think all dry foods on there own make a dog bloody thirsty and you get a bit of a gravy.

  2. ok lads i'm not selling anything yet but in the future i hopeing to sell whole sheep heads(skinned but apart from that whole) and whole green tripe.all food will be fresh.i can get about 200 sheep heads a week and about 40 tripe..it will be collection only in somerset.would like to get some regular customers.just trying to gague intrest before i have to become a donator. 50ish pence/head £7ish/ tripe they weigh about 14kgs each. do you think its worth it or not..

  3. as much as i like your pats,jacks, borders etc is there anybody who uses west highlands or yorkies i don't mean for earth work but ratting or bushing.old boy near me has a yorkie with plenty of attitude and not a bad size either and some w.h.w look well put together.earth dogs no good for me but could use a terrier that could bush and rat all day if needs be.any experience's anybody.

    left school at 16,started as a butcher then after 4 years started slaughtering.been doing that now for 12 years.

    whats the money like, with no experience in this type of work(slaughter man), always fancied doing it :thumbs:

     

    yeah the money is good,just would like more hours,it only a small slaughterhouse.about 500 heads a week.on the plus side i got to know alot of farmers which helps with permission.also free dog food.

  5. just a quick note to say hi to all and introduce myself.looking forward to seeing people's working dogs and hearing about them.not really into the shooting sports .got 2 lurchers myself and 4 ferrets.been a visitor for years.looking forward to contribute.
