Terrier man 38
Metholaed spirits .... buy it in any pharmacy ....put small bit in a bowel and give it a dip do so for twice a week for as many weeks as you want and it will harden the dogs paws ...........just make sure theres no open wounds on the pads when you dip them Quote Link to post

on-point 0
if she's in kennel, get down to your local ag merchant and get a 5 kg sack of salt. mug of that on the run now and again combined with meths dip will get them hard sharpish. as she'll always be walking about in the thin layer of salt it'll draw the moisture out of the pads and harden thenm up just as she stands there. best to build the work up slowly and get as much road in as you can. just my thoughts on-point Quote Link to post
