Sterry 0 Posted May 17, 2009 Report Share Posted May 17, 2009 Dont mean to hijack the thread and i appolagise in advance, But what cartridges do you all use. i always use Express 3" magnums but they are pretty dear i think. also can only get them in no6 and i prefer 5 or 4 for bolting rabbits. greatwhitehunter 47 Posted June 22, 2009 Report Share Posted June 22, 2009 haha! ive had smoe stick for using a .410 i think they are ample for hopping a few hedges, and at closer range you would blow a rabbit to bits with a 12bore but the i only use the magnum cartridges just to give that few more yards on the killing range.
