ferreting

Recommended Posts

had a long drive upto angus a week or so ago to some ferreting permision we had last year, we had some really good days last year and i had been looking forward to hitting it early in the season, but when i arrived i was astonished to find the farmer had ploughed the main feild and planted barley in it.....this flat fieldwas covered in warrens the year before :wallbash:

so i done a few sets on the hedge line and came away with only 9 rabbits, still it gave the young ferrets a chance to see what it was all about and i took a mate along his first time ferreting
