Looking To Start Using Long Net While Ferreting

Picked up my first long net for 20 quid the other day. Fella said it wasn't too long, but when I unrolled it, it's about 200 yards !

Would I be better off breaking it into smaller lengths ?

Yes especialy if your going traditional

Just out of intrest what size mesh

Haven't measures the mesh, but I'd guess it's around an inch and a half. (Also got 75 purse nets for another 20 quid, so I'm not complaining..... bargain!)

Regarding splitting the long net, what do you reckon ? A longer one and a couple of shorter ones, a series of shorter ones , couple of longer ones or woat ?

Sorry for the dumbass questions, but I haven't even started on poles yet !
