Havin seen the iscope i was a bit impressed by it but was a bit dismayed that their was no android version!! and it was a bit pricey!
so thought i would have a go at making my own!! so off to b&q i went with a bit of an idea and some inspiration from youtube! i purchased these items based on my (nikko sterling scope 3-9x40).. a 42mm to 32mm plastic coupler(screw type) and a 32mm push fit access plug (all from the plumbing section)
samsung galaxy s plus plastic hard case (which i had) or (what ever case to fit your android model) 1 tin of black spray paint! i fitted the case to the push fit access plug using a small screw and epoxy resin! good thing about android their is no software to download like on the iphone as android already have a hd video recorder with zoom built in! and the 42mm ring screw fits over scope and screws on to the tube nice and tight due to the rubber washers inside not harming the scope in any way! all done with a bit of paitience for under a fiver! i call this droidscope!wink.gifAttached File  7.jpg   18.51KB   0 downloadsAttached File  1.jpg   44.77KB   0 downloadsAttached File  2.jpg   35.5KB   0 downloadsAttached File  3.jpg   18.81KB   0 downloadsAttached File  4.jpg   25.69KB   0 downloadsAttached File  5.jpg   19.43KB   0 downloadsAttached File  6.jpg   23.88KB   0 downloads

It's great to see ingenuity .... 'Make do and Mend' as my Dad would say .... I might well be in need of a trip to B&Q myself

Good thinking, I like the setup, best of all cheap to make and it works!

I hope all goes well

I can just hear the phone call to Samsung

I wonder if you can help my phone isn't working

Oh what seems to be the problem

We'll after a trip to b&q I strapped it to the top of a 308 and now it's stopped working !!

Great invention make some more put um on eBay I would give it a go
