Spend some time on fitting the DSA to the scope. Once it is fitted correctly the unit should clip on and off easily. If it is stiff then you may need a bit of insulation under the spacers to get the width correct. It takes a bit of time but well worth the effort.

 

An excellent unit albeit heavy. You will need a butt extender. The one that Starlight give you I found is not long enough so you need to fit a bit of wood inside it to space it out some more.

 

Distances are down to the scope. But I can see bunny eyeshine out to 100 yards with no scope attached and a lot more on the scope.

I was so happy with mine that my mate bought one then his mate bought one then one of his customers bought one, then I thought bugger it, so i bought another..... But I still can't justify the expense of a longbow........... :laugh:

the silage is now cut and im on rest days weather permitting im going to use mine in anger for the 1st time

on eiher the .17hmr or howa .243 both fitted with the viper and taipan 4x16x50's respectively

cant wait hopefully get some results

Hi

Ive had my Archer for four years now and have shot lots of foxes that otherwise would have been missed. Run mine on the back of a Leupold VX111 4.5-14x50 along with an adjustable recoil pad.
