I am just taking over some woods for rough shooting and would like to get another dog to bring on for this. Does anyone have any strong feelings about sprockers? Out of these two i would be inclined to go for the working cocker. many people have and are happy with the spockers but these days the working cockers are pretty good so if you like the look of them why not just go for that breed? You have said that you like the lok and the work done by the cockers you have seen, that sounds like a decision made. To my mind there is no benefit to be gained by crossing the springer and the cocker, they do the same job the same way. Its just a fashion and the cross breed is not often much cheaper than the pure cocker and springers. Dan cue the people who have a sprocker and swear on a stack of bibles it is better than any cocker or springer that ever existed Quote Link to post Share on other sites
