FOXHUNTER 5,022
I was out again at 5am this morning on a sheep farm patrolling for foxes where lambs had been lost a little earlier. Again there was a chilly breeze blowing. I skirted the boundaries , stopping every now and then to watch hares frolicking . I headed for a small copse which has good cover . As I stalked around the edge I suddenly noticed a fox not 30 yards from me I immediately froze , luckily it was looking in the opposite direction . I carefully opened my sticks and another reynard was dispatched. Quote Link to post
flytie 1
Lucky? Stikes me that you might be a bit like the famous golfer, when someone told him he was lucky after a really good bunker shot had gone in the hole. He said, "the more I practice the luckier I get!" Well done, you got up and out early and you reaped the rewards Atb, ft Quote Link to post
