Guest air gunner
Hi i have just had a good visit to the local gun shop. I found my bsa supersport is running at 11ft/lbs! and found some new pellets they are David nickerson magnum domes. Has anyone used these and rates these well? they are 3.99 for 500! Also there is a second hand scope called the simmons gold lable or medal 4X40 scope. I have a 4X32 will this be a big step with a MUCH better view at ranges of 30yrds? Quote Link to post
half n' half 8
i've never used these pellets but at around half the price of a decent tin of pellets i can't see them being too clever. the 4x40 scope only has the same magnification as the 4x32 (4x mag) so will make little,if any difference to what you have.it might make a clearer sight picture if it is a better quality scope but the mag will be the same. aaronpigeonplucker 32
i used a 4x40 scope for a long time but a 3-9x40 scope is far better. i got mine for 30£. so much better than the lower mags. Quote Link to post
Guest air gunner
It is true they are much cheaper than my current pellets which may mean they are not any good however they may just be! I bought some for a mate as he is testing different brands. to be honest they look pretty good and group fairly well i put a couple through my gun. cheers for the info on the scope aaron where abouts did you buy your scope? andyfr1968 772
Be very careful with ebay. There's a lot of crap on there that's not what it says. Seconds, copies all kinds of junk. Me and lots of others have been stung... Stick to proper retailers. JS Ramsbotom's are well worth a look Cheers. Quote Link to post

That'll do you fine, mate. Good, strong, basic scopes for sensible cash. Nickerson's have never sold a good pellet. Thay should be ok for plinking, but I'd be wary of them for feild use. They're made by whoever makes them the cheapest, then Nickersons ask them nicely to put their name on the tin to be sold over here. Cheers. Quote Link to post

As for John rothery i know thats the same people who are the Bisley pellet wholesalers, which are good, but i have never heard of david nickleson And for pellets in general. you really do get what you pay for. I find myself avvoiding cheap brands presuming they are crud. pay lil bit more for Air arms diablos or accupells wont go wrrong. Quote Link to post
