hi. could any of use lad's advise me on what the procedure is for a variation. basically got a .308 on my ticket but have not purchased a rifle, now thinking of getting a .243 instead because i want one rifle for both deer and fox. and i can get some good deal's on a .243. cheer's....

Leave the .308 on your ticket for red deer.Variation for .243 to be used for fox and roe.

i am going to leave .308 on my ticket ,just wanting to no the procedure to add the .243. cheer's

You send in a form 101 filled in for variation, with a cheque for 26 quid. Your FEO will come out and ask you why you need two guns for deer, and you point out the foxes. He says OK, you get your ticket back after a huge delay (region depending) and then you buy a rifle.
