FOXHUNTER 5,021
Called into the farm last night to let the farmer know that I had shot 2 foxes for him as he had asked me to sort them as they have had 12 of his hens . He was happy with this and asked "Have you had any of those deer yet" I replied that I had only seen does but was going now to see what I could find I stalked into a doe to a distance of about 70 yds in a field of oats and watched her feeding for about 20 mins before carrying on . After stalking round the rest of the farm I finally arrived at a rough patch of ground and spotted a roebuck under a hawthorn bush at about yards looking straight at me, I slowly raised my rifle onto my sticks and head shot him as the grass was up to its neck and I could only see its head Quote Link to post
