OldTrapCollector 377
Cage traps have never been much good for rats. Fact. They are neophobic creatures and suspicious by nature. The very design of a cage trap goes against their heightened caution. Young grey rats will go in, but you will struggle to catch the adults. Try a couple of well placed and correctly set spring traps such as the Fenn Mk 4 and you will do much better for the same outlay. They are far more versatile too.
