andy s410c 63
Well finally blew the dust of the old peashooter today.Arrived at the bottom quarry for 11am,i popped into the farm to see the landowner to let him know i was back up for the summer with the airgun .I asked him if he was still happy for me to shoot rimfire when i get it sorted in the late summer...hopefully,no problem he said . Anyway got down to my zero range, ran the 30yd line out & stuck a target on a tree stump & after 30 shots i was happy, only 1 click to left required..prone & sitting groups very tight...standing group . Had a stalk around the top field & bagged 1 ferret snack size, just to get the buck fever out of my system.Bagged another small 1 & a adult in the bottom of the quarry. I had a bite to eat & had a dodge up to the top quarry, the quarry wall was jumping with small rabbits however i bagged another adult & managed to keep my trigger finger under control. I had a walk round the small wood, again small rabbits everywhere so i'll leave it for another couple of weeks to let them grow a bit. On the way back round to the car i found 2 of my purse hemp nets from February 1 was ok,the other fell apart (Note to self, must try harder.... ) Quote Link to post
