twoface14 1 Posted April 28, 2009 Report Share Posted April 28, 2009 correct i dint know you, i only take my opinion on what you put forward and i would would call anyone a twat who thinks that a creating a network for selling working dogs via the Internet is a good thing,you leave yourself wide open to abuse and peddler take over, you have no way of knowing if the dogs are indeed working or if the litters are of quality........ the standards that people are breeding dogs for is pitifulland the addition of Internet based "working dog" sites only compounds this by allowing quicker access to messers and morons, and in return where there is demand you will find messers and morons to fill it. working dogs are not for profiting off. very very few decent litters that are breed by people who have the true working dog in there mind and high enough standards to produce quality stock ever need to be advertised. im afraid what you are promoting only detracts from what the working dog should be and should stand, so yes i believe that if you stand for the above i shall put you in the twats category along with messers and morons. im sure you will disagree, but its not meant personally, just different standards and beliefs. So what about the dogs for sale on this site? Or is the owner of this site a twat to? maybe you should see how his site is run first before calling him a twat. Good luck flapper. I think your missing the point. This site is a hunting forum aimed primarily at debate, there is a classifieds section but this is not the point of the site, also we have rules about peddlers and dealers. I know that Wink has a good ethos behind working dogs and many would do well to follow his ideas and then perhaps there wouldn't be so many lurchers and terriers either passed around like pokemon cards or filling the rescue kennels.............. Ive seen peddlers on here before its down to the site to try to keep them off, they still get on no mater what you do but like here hopefully they don't stay. Lets not try and make it something its not, I am sure you had the best intentions with the idea..........but once folk are free to post away you have no control.........so its just another dog dealing website.
