ferreter.al 22 Posted April 25, 2009 Report Share Posted April 25, 2009 my mate has got a 9month old laguna whippet,and it still has no balls,he had to go to the vets yesterday to get his new bitch tagged so he took the dog along so she could have a look as there has been a bit of discharge coming out of the end last couple of weeks,anyway we had heard about this problem with whippets and the vet said he would have to be castrated!so i was just woundering has anyone seen this before and will the pup be any use once it has been castrated? atb Quote Link to post Share on other sites

Timid Toad 18 Posted April 25, 2009 Report Share Posted April 25, 2009 having a dog castrated doesnt normally cause any weight probs unless the owner gets silly with the food or gets lax on the exercise .. normally a spayed bitch only puts weight on because of the difference in the bodys hormones but with the right food and exercise even that can be stopped . sad to hear that about his pup mind but it wont stop him working Quote Link to post Share on other sites
