Deben mk 1 collars

Hi all.

 

I am needing to get a new locator now that i am back into ferreting after a while out. I used to have a Deben mk 1 locator but that does not work anymore. I have 3 collars for this locator. If i can not manage to get another mk 1 locator, is it possible to use the mk 1 collars with a mk 3 or mk 3m locator box? I think i heard somewhere you can but wasn't sure. Does anyone know?

 

I am needing a new locator asap as my uncle got a phonecall from a farmer saying he needs his fields cleared asap and we are hoping to go down on Sunday, so trying to get a locator before then.

 

Also, if anyone has any locators for sale, can you let me know. I live just outside Glasgow.

affraid not, the mk1 box will pick up mk3 collars, but not the other way around, if you cant get a mk1, Im sure you'd get a good price off e bay for the collars, enough to buy yourself a mk3 and collars

hi , the mk1 box will pick mk3 collars up but not other way round...if you do sell your mk1 collars would be intrested in 2 off them..i do have two mk3 locator boxes for sale one ferret one terrier but they are the same ithink, just the name on the front..
