i have just been offered a daystate x2 like new, to swop for my falcon lightweight

 

hunter with thumbhole skeleton stock! have any of you tried this daystate?

 

any opinions?

dont know what model the daystate is, but the falcon is a f12

went to have a look at it last night and being used to the falcon

the daystate was twice as long and three times as heavy

so decided to keep the falcon

Fair enough. The daystate was probably the more expensive gun but if it doesn't feel right for you then there is no point in having it. Good choice.

I've owned both, even have another Daystate X2, sold the Falcon to a Mr King off here who I'm sure will vouch for how good they are. Both are very good rifles

daystate, brilliant guns, there after sales survice is the best out there.

built better then a falcon.

i wouldnt swop a daystate for any falcon

good move keeping the falcon mate,nice and simple to work on,not they ever go wrong as they are as reliable as any.

imo the daystates are over rated,over priced and more target orientated than hunting.
