hers one such bulb unit.. theres regulaters for the one ones that dont have buit in reg's.. '8' rings are all over ebay for 5-6 quid with dilivery... you can bridge the tube on the tacticle torch's or cut um down and atatch two wires for the unltimate in weight loss.. (the cree tacticles are mostly 1 inch bodies..so a 1 inch 8 ring..) you'll want rechargeable CR123's though..or rig up nicads or summut.

the LED lenser H7 and h7R do go to the hundred yard mark on full power, theyre dimable and fucusable although the beam does have a spot (handy for centering).. check out the head its self, i cant see a ready made unit any where that's this small for a hundred yard beam unfiltered...with dimmer on the battery pack..

failing that the preverbial 'any dish' that'll hold a 4.8v krypton and give it 6v.. some gaffer tape and wire... for on a gun... or use head lamp.

...... both are ten minute jobes.. the bodies are the negative.. the spring in the end caps conects to the tube and then the bulbn at the other end.

Hi, folks.

I'm having problems with my lamping gear.

I use springers, and have tried scope mounted lamps, but I'm fed up with having to re-zero each time I take it off or put it back on.

I've been useing a Petzel 5 LED head torch for a while, and it's fine out to 25 yards or so but not enough power for any further.

I'm useing a good enough scope, I could use a little help with my lighting problem though......

Cheers.

Andy.

ahhh your taking the scope off and losing your zero? or losing the light zero? ''put the light on the barrel..''

weight wise...above..

hope it helps

oops i forgot a bit....

put the presure switch wire into the posative (or wat ever switch/dimmer switch you can get) of the battery span (mag lite) and everything else can go in your pocket..batteries etc...

posatives the one that goes to the bulb usualy.. or where ever the nipple end of the batteries goes to.
